Regulations for participation in the Grand Graduation Ceremony

§ 1
General information

  1. The organizer of the Grand Graduation Ceremony 2024, hereinafter referred to as "Graduation", is the Lazarski University with its registered office at ul. Świeradowska 43, hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer" or "University".
  2. The purpose of the Graduation is a celebration of graduation from Lazarski University by graduates and invited guests.
  3. The graduation will take place at the University on July 12, 2024.

§ 2
Registration

  1. The Graduation is attended by graduates who in a given academic year have completed one-cycle Master's studies as well as first- and second-cycle studies. The Graduation may also be attended by persons who have completed their studies but have not taken the diploma examination yet.
  2. Participation in the Graduation is available in person or via the online transmission.
  3. Persons who want to participate in the Graduation in person must complete the participation registration form available in the sent invitation as well as on the University's website by July 5th and receive confirmation of the registration.
  4. Personal participation in the Graduation means the obligation to comply with the following Regulations. The content of the Regulations will be available at the event venue and on the website of the Lazarski University - graduacja.lazarski.pl/regulamin. The Participant is obliged to read the Regulations and accept them.
  5. The form is to be completed by all the participants: graduates, teaching and administrative staff.
  6. A participant who does not complete the form may not participate in the ceremony.
  7. On the day of the Graduation, entrance to the University campus (main gate) will be possible from 2 p.m. till 4 p.m.

§ 3
Photos and diplomas award during the ceremony

  1. The University, acting on the basis of a legitimate interest in keeping documentation of organized events and providing information about them, informs that during the Graduation, group and individual photos will be taken and film materials will be recorded during the Graduation.
  2. Each participant, taking part in the Graduation, accepts that his/her image placed in photographs and video material may be used on the University’s websites and on the University's fanpages on the social media as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn. Participants of the Graduation have the right to revoke the permission granted.
  3. Each of the participants will have their own photos taken against the background of the wall with the logo of the University placed on it.

§ 4
Processing of personal data

  1. Processing of personal data of participants registering for the Graduation.
  2. The administrator of your personal data is the Lazarski University with its registered office in Warsaw at Świeradowska Street 43, 02-662 Warsaw.
  3. The administrator has appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted at iod@lazarski.edu.pl.
  4. Your personal data will be processed in order to accept your application and participation in the Graduation pursuant to art. 6 sec. 1 lit. b and f GDPR, implementation and taking actions to perform the contract and the legitimate interest of ensuring good relations with the academic community.
  5. Your personal data will be stored by the Administrator for the period necessary to complete the Graduation.
  6. Your personal data may be transferred to public authorities and state offices or other entities authorized under the law. Personal data may be transferred by us to entities that operate ICT systems and provide ICT tools or provide cloud services or hosting and destruction of documentation.
  7. Your personal data will not be subject to automated decisions, including profiling.
  8. You have the right to request from the Administrator access to personal data, the right to rectify them, delete or limit processing, the right to transfer data.
  9. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body - the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
  10. You have the right to raise, at any time, an objection based on art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f GDPR.
  11. Providing personal data is necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Failure to provide data may result in the inability to participate in the Graduation.
  12. Your personal data will not be transferred to a third party/international organization, unless required by the legal obligations of the Administrator.

§ 5
Final Provisions

  1. These Regulations come into force on the day of its publication on the University's website.
  2. Any changes to the Regulations will be available on the University's website.
